The filter for VirtualDub to remove video noise on VHS movie. Its main task is suppression of noise as small bright lines, red or blue color, less often green. Because of discontinuity of a magnetic layer of VHS-tape such lines always are present at the image.

The filter analyses each frame irrespective of others, due to what it brings in additional distortions in comparison with dynamic filters (practically there is a loss of clearness in comparison with the operation blur). In aggregate with high accuracy of definition of noise the given filter, probably, is the leader among similar filters for VirtualDub. Each directory can have it's own password, it's own body information (background colours and link colours etc. ) so that it's a breeze setting up albums for all your friends. They can login to this photo album, upload their own photos, and you never have to lift a finger. The script ensures that the total size of photos and pictures in each directory doesn't pass the limit you specify. You could give a folder to your sister, but limit her uploads to just two or three photos. Your girlfriend could have another directory to upload to, with no limits on her uploads at all. It's up to you! Administrate it all from any browser. Go to the friends_directory and use the login and password combo: admin/password to test the upload and settings options. Major UpdateThis script has seen some extreme changes, including the ability to have smaller sized thumbnails which load faster in thumbnail view. The short answer is that SetNameToTime is an application made to rename digital camera jpg and tiff files. A file renaming program you may think, that is hardly a new concept - so why use this one?

Almost all jpg and tiff files produced by modern digital cameras contain information like the date and time the picture was shot, if a flash was used, the shutter speed, the f-stop and a lot of other information. SetNameToTime can extract this information and use it to rename the file.

The first version of SetNameToTime would use the date and time only to produce a name like 2003-08-11--11-40-00.jpg (year-month-date--hour-minute-second.jpg). The idea was to give each file a unique name and one that would always produce the correct chronological order.

Today SetNameToTime will let you use other data from the file as well. It is up to you to produce the rules for the new file names. You don't even have to use information from the file at all. A name with some text and a counter will do just as well.

Filter automatically determines the blockiness's strength on the frame and in the concrete part of it, preserving the maximum of details. You have only to accept one of predefined presets.

Thus, filter will process marginally when on scenes with slow motion, while it will smooth very hard in the case of fast motion in the same film. The main advantage of the filter is that it provides the boost of integral quality in the most widespread PSNR metric in comparison with the original film. That is, a film after decompression in comparison with original achieves the lower quality than a film after decompression and deblocking.
